Super Sucurity Guide!
Here are the first basic guide lines.
Password Protect a Post
To password protect your post, you need to select a password. You may do this by picking some words you like to use and combine them, or make it real long so no one guesses. Use lots of symbols and words. My password is an example! You I assume copied and pasted.
Example: WaLllllly ISSS aWeSomme!?&^()
See? lots of symbols. I used 3 words. The first part isn’t hard to guess. But other parts are very hard. Symbols are unpredictable. I would say! Here is HOW To do it!
-
Make a page or post you don’t want people to see without a password.
-
Scroll down
-
It will say Comments and Pings, ignore it!
-
Next down is Password Protect This Page. Click it. It will have a box. Click in it.
-
Type your complicated pass. Then hit Publish. (scroll back up)
Thats it! Picture:
Make a post Private
you don’t need much. Here is the guidelines!
-
Select if you want it published or not
-
Select if you want to make it private or not.
-
The Bad thing is.. Your admins can see this. Your authors cannot. Neither can your editors. I do not know about Contrib.
-
Follow the guide!
Here is how
-
To the right of where you post, you will see a box that looks like this:

-
This is what you do:
-
Select if you want it published, Unpublished,or Pending Review
-
Select Private
-
Then hit Publish or Save. If you don’t even want it to be available then save. Publish lets your admins see it.
Series 2
Help on putting this all together?
“I need help on putting it together, What do I do!” Well, here is an example of a post:
Super Security Example no.1
Address: http://1wally15.com/super-sucurity/kapakalia-a;isdjhgaosdk
Password Protected Post: 789564231684Wally3548468456word-doc
Private Post
Color highlights UNSEEABLE!
Put it all together, and it looks like this After you are in it past the password protected.
Check out my awesome post!!
Odd Addresses are the way you get to something. Like, http://1wally15.com. Well, if I were to make a page, then it would be http://1wally15.com/blah-blah-blah. Whatever the page is at the end. I would think this one without an odd address would be: http://1wally15.com/odd-addresses-super-sucurity . But an odd address would be something that isn’t related to the page you made. An example would be http://1wally15.com/5468463513521654-3546847-90. Hard to figure out, right? So, thats what you will do. Put like, a code. I would open word (if you have it) and write down a bunch of possibilities and you could use the leftovers for another page. Then you could label them or save them in another document. If you don’t have word, then do the same thing on paint with the text tool. Heres how you make another one:
-
Make the post or pageIf its a post, then scroll down. If it’s a page, stay here.Save it. Just in case, make it private.Go into Manage>Pages and then go to the page and click on the name. You should be where you were when you made the post.Under the Title, there should be a url. The end is highlighted. Click edit and this will happen.
TYPE!!! ^Elusion for your eyes!^
If It’s a post, then it will be the same, only you don’t have to manage it!
If you want to keep it super safe, and play a prank on a friend that works with you, then you will have to change who your logged in as. Can’t do that, so why don’t you make it look like it! Heres how:
Make the funny post or page.
Scroll down
it will say Page Author
Click on the arrow and change it! Then publish it. Look at it! heres a picture on how:
Choose one of them and publish. Good work agent! jk jk!

Whats the Point of making a post if nobody can see it?
Wally: Excellent Question! I would like to answer your question with the word, Security. Sometimes in posts, You would like to make it so that people don’t see what you’re writing, just like clubpenguin hides things in catalogs. So, The only way to see all of this, is to Highlight your post. Like this picture..
